TEMIZ HLB-SPE

Temiz HLB-SPE is a novel HLB resin for use in SPE or suspension applications. With a high level of pyrrolidone content, this resin is instantly water-wettable and facilitates adsorption in aqeuous solution. With its hydrophilic surface, it does not require any wetting or pre-conditioning using organic solvents.

The resin has an exceptionally broad selectivity towards a wide selection of small or oligomeric organic compounds. 

Applications are primarily in high sensitivity analysis, eg packed in SPE columns combined with LC-MS/MS. The resin can aslo be used as multi-purpose adsorbent in suspension applications.

Typical properties of Temiz HLB resins are:

  • Surface chemistry: DVB/Styrene-backbone and pyrrolidone
  • The lipophilic/hydrophilic balance resin is therefore quickly water wettable
  • Porosity: mesoporous – optimal for small to oligomeric molecules
  • Cross-linking: high cross-linkage with good rigidty adapted for flow-through applications 
  • Particle size: ca 20 – 90 µm optimal for solid phase extraction, SPE and low pressure chromatography
