resins for biomolecule separations

Redstone Separations develops new polymeric resins with a rigid structure and with large pores for binding, separation and purification of large biomolecules for use in analytical but more importantly in preparative clean-up.

Examples of biomolecules are proteins, enzymes, antibodies and oligonucleotides.

Current development portfolio has the following highly cross-linked polymeric resins in the pipeline:

  • DVB/Styrene reversed phase resins
  • Hydrophilic polymeric resins for low non-specific binding
  • Ion-Exchange resins: both strong and weak cation and anion exchangers
  • Particle sizes: 10 µm, 50 µm, 70-200 µm and industrial 200-1200 µm
  • Pore sizes:  100 Å, 300 Å, 500 Å, 1000 Å
  • Pores size >1000 Å  – upon inquiry
  • Surface functionalities: IEX variants, HIC and tailor-made ligands, optionally constructed binding cavities
