TEMIZ™ DVB-NH2-SPE
Temiz DVB-NH2-SPE is a novel weak anion resin for use in SPE solid phase extractions as sample preparation prior to analysis.
Typical properties of Temiz SPE resins are:
- Backbone: highly cross-linked DVB/Styrene
- Porosity: mesoporous – optimal for small molecules
- Particle size: ca 20 – 90 µm
- Surface chemistry: primary amine
- Ion exchange capacity: ca 1 mmol/g
Material and surface chemistry: primary amine in combination with a rigid DVB hydrophobic backbone.
Applications
The resin offers the combination of polar primary amino groups, weak anion exchange interactions with hydrophobic backbone moeities. Due to the high rigidity of the resins, they perform well in non-polar organic solvents.
Applications are in high sensitivy analysis, eg SPE combined with LC-MS/MS with selectivity towards a wide selection of small or oligomeric organic compounds. :
- Removal of strong anions such as sulfonic acids from aqueous solution
- Separation of organic acids, lipids, alcohols, sugars, steroids and other substances
- Drugs and their metabolites in biological matrix (urine, blood)
- Pesticides, insecticides etc in food and water
Resins are available in gram scale and packed in columns
- 2 g = 250 €
- 50 g = 2 500 €

- 1 ml columns, 100 mg bed weight, pack of 100 = 750 €
