A collaboration with Dr. Seda Demirel Topel on the evaluation of novel resins for the adsorption of rare earth metals is ongoing.

Redstone Separations has sponsored the resins for testing and materials, and Prof Topels group at Antalya Bilim University has taken the initiative to conduct this project and contributes with expertise and the practical work. 

This is a globally a very important topic and we hope that our findings will contribute to a more sustainability and availability of industrially important rare earth metals.

Newest results were presented at 11. Ulusal Kimya Öğrenci Kongresi by Sinem Ateş, Timur Tongur, Ecevit Yılmaz, Seda Demirel Topel* in 2026.
