TEMIZ HLB-SPE
Temiz HLB-SPE is a novel HLB resin for use in SPE or suspension applications. With a high level of pyrrolidone content, this resin is instantly water-wettable and facilitates adsorption in aqeuous solution. With its hydrophilic surface, it does not require any wetting or pre-conditioning using organic solvents.
The resin has an exceptionally broad selectivity towards a wide selection of small or oligomeric organic compounds.
Applications are primarily in high sensitivity analysis, eg packed in SPE columns combined with LC-MS/MS. The resin can aslo be used as multi-purpose adsorbent in suspension applications.
Resins are available packed in SPE columns. Pls inquire for material purchase in gram scale or material packed in plates.
Typical properties of Temiz HLB resins are:
- Surface chemistry: DVB/Styrene-backbone and pyrrolidone
- The lipophilic/hydrophilic balance resin is therefore quickly water wettable
- Porosity: mesoporous – optimal for small to oligomeric molecules
- Cross-linking: high cross-linkage with good rigidty adapted for flow-through applications
- Particle size: ca 20 – 90 µm optimal for solid phase extraction, SPE and low pressure chromatography
