TEMIZ DVB-Amide MP Resin is a polymeric resin based on highly stable DVB-Styrene with polar non-ionic amide groups.
This resin is quite unique on the market. It combines surface polar amide groups with a highly stable cross-linked polystyrene base.

The resin is characterized by its good rigidity and an exceptionally high loading of amide groups lending it a novel and unique polarity nature in between hydrophobic RP adsorbents and polar IEX resins.
Applications
Compared to very hydrophobic reversed phase (RP) adsorbents consisting of cross-linked polystyrene and compared to very polar ion exchange (IEX) resins this resin offers an unique and versatile intermediate polarity. The non-ionic nature and the balanced ratio of hydrophobic and hydrophilic moeities might enable separations that were difficult on either RP or IEX materials.
